<p>A method for implementing packet filtering, system and apparatus for packet filtering. The method includes: in a media gateway controller (MGC), packet filtering information based on the basic features that can only determine the media stream in the packet header of IPV6 is set, when a MG functioning as a packet filtering apparatus transfers a media stream, it filters the packets for the media stream using the packet filter information sent down by MGC. The method for implementing packet filtering, system and apparatus for packet filtering implement the packet filtering process for the media stream in the packet network based on IPV6, furthermore because the filter condition in the packet filter information may be obtained from ternary group information which can only determine the basic features of the media stream, thereby decrease the complexity of packet filtering.</p> |
