A processing method for heat exchanger tanks is provided to manufacture the heat exchanger tank with improved pressure resistance and endurance by cutting the tank by a predetermined size and performing press. In a heat exchanger tank comprising a tank, a tube, and clad sheet, the tank is made by welding a plurality of pipes. The tube inserted in a hole formed at one side of the tank. The clad sheet is brazed to the tube. In a processing Method for the heat exchanger tank, tube insertion holes formed at the tank are cut to the depth(h) less than the depth(d) of valleys between joints of pipes, thereby preventing the pipes from being communicating with each other. The depth of the tube insertion hole is determined to be less than 0.5mm to 1.5mm calculated by subtracting the depth of the tube insertion hole from the depth of the valley. |
