摘要 There are provided a method and device for generating a reproduction wobble signal by subtracting an estimated cross talk signal expressed by a sinusoidal waveform having frequency substantially identical to groove meander frequency from an original wobble signal, so that according to this, an information pattern is recorded at a predetermined position of an optical disc or an information pattern is reproduced from a predetermined position of the optical disc. By performing synchronization according to the reproduction wobble signal, it is possible to estimate a carrier signal corresponding to the groove meander and to estimate a residual component of cross talk from an amplitude and a phase of a region where the meander has a substantially identical phase with the estimated carrier signal in the reproduction wobble signal and an amplitude and a phase of a region where the meander is based on a signal different from the estimated carrier signal. The estimated cross talk is updated by compensating the residual component.
