STREAM ENCODER AND STREAM DECODER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stream encoder capable of easily generating a multi-angle stream at a low cost.

SOLUTION: The stream encoder includes a video encoder which receives and encodes video data of first and second angles and output the results as first and second encoded video data, a first video buffer which stores the first encoded video data, and a second video buffer which stores the second encoded video data. The video encoder includes a movement compensating predictive encoder which has a first prediction memory and a second prediction memory and is operative to perform encoding processing of two or more frames in a one-frame period of the video data of the first or second angle.
