<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically determine and acquire an image required in measurement of arrangement information on indexes or sensors from an image sequence input from a photographing device. <P>SOLUTION: The information processing method calculates arrangement information on the indexes or arrangement information on a measurement object or a position and a posture of a photographing part using a photographing image of the indexes existing on a real space. The method determines whether or not a photographing image corresponding to the position and the posture is used in the calculation, using the position and the posture information of the acquired photographing image and the arrangement information on the detected indexes. The arrangement information on the indexes or the arrangement information on the measurement object or the position and the posture of the photographing part are made as unknown parameters using the photographed image determined to be used, and the parameters are obtained to minimize errors between measured values of the image coordinates of the indexes and theoretical values of image coordinates of the indexes estimated from approximate values of the parameters. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
