<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent soiling and failure in printing caused by time when an image forming apparatus is left as it is and the image ratio of a developer image. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus is equipped with: a photoreceptor drum 1; an exposure head 3 exposing a latent image based on image information in dot units on the photoreceptor drum 1; an exposure dot number counter 29 counting the number of dots of the latent image exposed by the exposure head 3; an image ratio calculation part 25 calculating the image ratio per predetermined area based on the counted result by the exposure dot number counter 29; a developing roller 5 developing the developer image based on the latent image by electrifying developer based on applied voltage and sticking the electrified developer to the latent image; a timer 27 measuring time taken until the image information is input after a previous image forming process is finished; and a control part 23 controlling the voltage to be applied to the developing roller 5 based on the calculated result by the image ratio calculation part 25 and the measured result by the timer 27. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
