PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely remove dust stuck or firmly stuck to the surface and the inner part of a filter. SOLUTION: This vacuum cleaner is so formed that a dust collector 4 has an accumulation part 4a accumulating dust sucked from a communication port 12, an opening 4c disposing the accumulated dust, and a lid body 4b openably closing the opening 4c and integrally disposed with a filter 17 filtering the dust included in air sucked to the accumulation part 4a; and the communication port 12 communicates with a suction port of an electric blower via the accumulation part 4a and the lid body 4b. The lid body 4a is provided with a dust removing body 24 slidably along the surface of the filter 17 and swingably in the vertical direction to the surface of the filter 17, so as to provide the filter with vibration swinging, flipping and shaking the filter and vibration swinging it vertically to the filter surface and tapping, and surely remove not only the dust stuck to the surface of the filter but also the dust stuck to the inner part.
