PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide leafy shade with trees through growing the root of a tree in an area corresponding to a projected area of a crown of the tree on an artificial ground with load limit. SOLUTION: The leafy shade with trees is such that a root swelling layer 14 thinner than a root ball 16A of a tree 16 is set on an artificial ground 12 made of artificial ground, and the tree 16 is planted in the root swelling layer 14. Root extending from the root ball 16A of the tree 16 can break into the root swelling layer 14 and the root of the tree 16 grows over a wide area, so the crown of the tree 16 grows to be large enough to give the leafy shade. Added fertile soil 36 is put between an insulating plate 40 and a water retention plate 18, and formed to keep temperature change in the inside not to become large and to hardly get dry.
