A method for indirect coal liquefaction includes a preparation stage when raw material is loaded to a simple shaft furnace of blast type where at interaction with calcined lime calcium carbide is formed by Galynker's method under the temperature of 1800-2200 °C which is reached by enrichment of blast air with oxygen to 60 %; a gasification stage when in the gas-producer at interaction of calcium carbide and water acetylene is formed under the normal pressure and temperature, and a liquefaction stage in the catalyzer unit where acetylene is trimerized on the catalyzer from activated coal under the temperature of 580 °С by the Berthelot-Zelinskii reaction. At that heating of the catalyzer is performed due to heat released at cooling melted calcium carbide and afterburning carbon monoxide in the cowper blast heaters, recuperation of lime and water is carried out in the burning furnace in the form of a drier with vibro-fluidized layer due to using heat released at cooling calcium carbide and afterburning carbon monoxide in the cawper blast heaters. And also a device for implementation of the method which comprises the gas-producer, a gasholder, a collecting bunker, the catalyzer unit, pumps, a silt-settling tank, the shaft (blast) furnace, a receiver, a crystallizer-cooler, a cyclone of the crystallizer-cooler, the burning furnace in the form of a drier with vibro-fluidized layer, a waste-steam turbine, an air blast, a turboexpander, an absorber, an unit of neutralization of nitrogen oxides and cowper blast heaters. The method allows to produce 1 kg of benzene or styrene from 1.9 kg of coal. |
