A unit cell for a fuel cell is provided to ensure airtightness through ultrasonic bonding and to embody size reduction and thickness reduction of a fuel cell. A unit cell for a fuel cell includes: a membrane-electrode assembly(110) which comprises an electrolyte membrane(112) and a pair of electrodes formed on both surfaces of the electrolyte membrane; a pair of plates(120,130) which are put together with the membrane-electrode assembly interposed therebetween, and are formed of a plastic material; and current collectors(141,142) which are interposed between the plate and the membrane-electrode assembly.
