A control method of an LPI(Liquefied Petroleum Injection) system is provided to improve fuel pump efficiency and durability by optimizing operation according to various operating conditions, to improve an engine output and reduce exhaust gas by increasing the fuel pump efficiency, and to prevent excessive increase of pressure and temperature. In an LPI system for a vehicle comprising a fuel tank(1), a fuel pump(2) in the fuel tank, a fuel supply line(4) supplying fuel pumped from the fuel pump to an injector(6), a feedback line(9) returning the fuel fed back from the injector to the fuel tank, a fuel supply line temperature sensor(7) measuring fuel temperature in the fuel supply line, a feedback line pressure sensor(9a) measuring fuel pressure in the feedback line, and a bombe pressure sensor(10) measuring pressure in the fuel tank, a control method of an LPI system comprises the steps of: starting a vehicle; calculating a target fuel pressure referring to the measured pressure by the bombe pressure sensor, and the measured temperature by the fuel supply line temperature sensor; comparing the target fuel pressure with the measured pressure by the feedback line pressure sensor; and controlling motor revolution speed driving the fuel pump in accordance with the result of the comparing step.
