PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode for a solid oxide fuel cell in which both the length of a reaction field and gas diffusivity are compatible.

SOLUTION: This is the electrode of the solid oxide fuel cell which includes a pore derived from a pore-forming agent and which has a pore diameter gradient composition in which the pore diameter becomes larger while heading for the opposite side from a solid electrolyte side.
