<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the generation of rubber lumps on a rubber coated cord by preventing the outflow of a rubber from a cap when a rubber coating apparatus for coating a cord with a rubber to extrude the coated cord from the cap is stopped. <P>SOLUTION: A movable cap 21 and a fixed cap 22 are arranged along the route of the cord 10 from the cap 54 connected to the rubber flow channel 12 of a rubber coating head. The movable cap 21 is formed by dividing the member having the through-hole, which comes into contact with the outer peripheral part of the cord 10, into two parts formed thereto in an up and down direction and made movable in the direction vertical to the cord 10 by a drive means 23. At the time of rubber coating, the respective divided parts of the movable cap 21 are separated from the cord 10 to open a rubber extrusion route and the rubber is extruded along with the cord 10 to be formed into a predetermined cross section by the opening part 22A of the fixed cap 22. At the time of stop of the apparatus, the inner diameter part 21A of the movable cap 21 is brought into contact with the cord 10 to close the rubber extrusion route to prevent the outflow of the rubber from the rubber extrusion route. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
