PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for deleting packets and enhancing data transmission efficiency, in a wireless communication system. SOLUTION: The method for deleting packets in a wireless communication system comprises a step for setting a timer which actuates deletion of a packet in ARQ process, a step for actuating the deletion timer, in response to an HARQ of a packet corresponding to a loss sequence number, and a step for stopping reception of a packet corresponding to a loss sequence number, when it is not received even if the deletion timer has expired.
