PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an odorless deodorant composition which efficiently removes odors, such as mercaptans, amines, pyridines, fatty acids, phenols or the like. SOLUTION: The deodorant composition contains a zinc salt of a cyclohexane monocarboxylic acid represented by formula (1) (wherein R<SP>1</SP>, R<SP>2</SP>, R<SP>3</SP>, R<SP>4</SP>and R<SP>5</SP>are independently H, a 1-8C hydrocarbon group or a 1-8C alkoxy group; and at least one or two of R<SP>1</SP>-R<SP>5</SP>is/are a 1-8C hydrocarbon group or a 1-8C alkoxy group and others are H).
