According to the invention, signals (S1) are transmitted between a subscriber station (MS1) and a first base station (BS1). The level of interference (I) in the reception of a second base station (BS2) caused by the signals (S1) transmitted from the subscriber station (MS1) to the first base station (BS1) is estimated.
