The device includes a pair of triangular coils (3.1,3.2) of same surface with a form depicts a square in a former level. Another pair of triangular coils (3.3,3.4) of same surface is provided with a form arranged in later level. The coil of the former level rests congruently above one another. The measuring direction (X) is parallel to the side of the square. A rotor (2) is provided, which has an electrically conductive layer or an electrically conductive material. The rotor is equipped as a flat, square surface parallel to the levels and has an expansion in (Y) direction.
