METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR SENDING SHORT VOICE MESSAGE

A method and a system for transmitting a short voice message are provided to transmit a message in language which a user knows irrespective of the language and offer a real-time service without transmission delay. A method for transmitting a short voice message comprises the following steps of: allowing a transmitter(70) to begin a short voice message function and record the short voice message; transmitting a call setup message as a normal call through a communication network(80) according to a request of the transmitter; allowing a receiver(90) to decode the call setup message while the call is set up and grasp that call setting is for the transmission of the short voice message(137); allowing the receiver to set parameters for recording the short voice message(141); allowing the transmitter to transmit directly the recorded short voice message to the receiver when the call setting is completed(155); and allowing the receiver to record and store the short voice message(149).
