A system and a method for removing video noise through a filter matrix and a recording medium thereof are provided to remove the noise through filtering based on the correlation between conversion pixels and a matrix, which is a set of pixels. The first input unit(102) receives image data of a target image for conversion. The second input unit(104) receives data relative to the size of a portion of the image data to be converted. The first calculation unit(106) sets a conversion unit matrix based on a reference matrix for a conversion operation. The second calculation unit(108) calculates the average video image of pixels corresponding to the conversion unit matrix and the average video image of pixels corresponding to the reference matrix. An arrangement part(110) calculates the difference between the average value of the reference matrix and the average value of the conversion unit matrix. A conversion part(112) performs a low-pass filtering operation for the conversion unit matrix corresponding to a predetermined calculation result. |
