<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communications system, capable of allowing a plurality of transmitters to easily execute signal transmission at a suitable transmission rate, corresponding not only to the state of the transmitter side but also to the state of the receiver side. <P>SOLUTION: In the communications system, having a plurality of transmitters each of which transmits stream data and a receiver for receiving the stream data from the plurality of transmitters; the receiver is provided with a calculation means for calculating a range, allowing the transmission rate of the data of respective transmitters and a notification means for notifying the calculation result to the transmitters; and each transmitter is provided with a transmission rate adjusting means for receiving the notification and adjusting the data transmission rate within the range. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
