<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device of housing a plurality of test strips and endowing one test strip each time. <P>SOLUTION: The device of housing and endowing the test strips 142 has a vessel housing a stack 104 of the test strips. The vessel maintains appropriate environmental conditions such as humidity and the like to house the test strips. An engagement member 106 housed in the vessel comes to contact with one of the stack of the test strips. An actuator 108 actuates the engagement member to endow one test strip from the vessel. Since the test strips are endowed one by one, the remaining strips are not handled by a user.
