PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cover film capable of eliminating out of focus and being brought into press-contact with a slide glass. SOLUTION: The cover film 10 is constituted of a TAC film 11 and an adhesive layer 12. The thickness T1 of the TAC film is set to≥110μm and≤130μm. A plasticizer is added to the TAC film 11 by≥14 wt.% and≤16 wt.%. The total thickness T3 of the TAC film 11 and the adhesive layer 12 is set to≥130μm and≤170μm. Gutter-shaped curl is applied to the TAC film 11 by contraction of the adhesive layer 12 when drying. When the cover film 10 is stuck on the slide glass, a curl amount is set to the one exceeding minus curl caused by swelling or dissolution of the adhesive layer 12 by a sealing liquid.
