PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an arm type valve gear preventing generation of edge load at a contact part of an adjuster screw and a valve stem end and enabling form rolling of an external thread of the adjuster screw. SOLUTION: A fitting hole 14 is formed at a position opposing to an upper end of the valve stem 7 of an arm 1 rocked by rotation of a cam. A rush adjuster 20 built in the fitting hole 14 is formed out of a nut member 21 including a flange 27 at a lower end part, the adjuster screw 22 screwed in the nut member 21, an elastic body 23 pressing the adjuster screw 22 to the valve stem 7 side, and a cap 24 pressed on an upper end part outer circumference of the nut member 21. A straight part 34 having smaller diameter than an outer diameter of the external screw 30 is provided at a lower end part of the adjuster screw 22 to enable form rolling of the external thread 30 of the adjuster screw 22.
