PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin made vertical underwater pump capable of draining with high reliability for a long period of time, even if a main component of the underwater pump is made of resin for weight reduction. SOLUTION: A suction casing 11 and a discharge casing 10 are made of resin in the resin made underwater pump 6. The suction casing is arranged above a motor casing 13, the discharge casing is arranged above the suction casing, and casings 10-13 are formed in cylindrical shapes. A motor 18 is accommodated in the motor casing, and an impeller 17 is mounted to an extended portion of a rotating shaft 15 of the motor. A suction opening 24 is formed in a circumference portion of the casing, and the impeller pressurizes water sucked from the suction opening.
