PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper used for an adhesive paper for later pasting including both of an excellent ink jet-recording aptitude capable of printing e.g. changeable information by the ink jet-recording and an excellent offset printing aptitude capable of printing a beautiful information to be concealed, and an adhesive paper for the later pasting, achieving concealing paper capable of being removed without damaging the concealed information-recorded surface. SOLUTION: This paper used for the adhesive paper for the later pasting includes substrate paper for providing a peelable adhesive layer, the substrate paper is obtained by using wood pulp as a main raw material, a clear coat layer containing starch, a waterproofing agent and a sizing agent is provided on both surfaces of the substrate paper, a coated layer is provided on one of the clear coat layers, and a flattening is performed on the surface of the other clear coat layer and the coated layer. And the adhesive paper for the later pasting is obtained by printing information on the flattened coated layer of the paper used for the adhesive paper for the later pasting and then providing a peelable adhesive layer.
