PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet conveying device capable of preventing sticking of the sheet by charging of a guide member made of a non-conductive resin and skew of the sheet by play motion of the guide member. SOLUTION: Earth means for releasing the charge from the guide member to a machine body side and urging the guide member to a downstream side in a sheet conveying direction are provided at two positions separated in a direction perpendicular to the sheet conveying direction of the guide member comprising the non-conductive resin provided along a first exclusive conveying passage and a second exclusive conveying passage respectively. Thereby, the charge is released from the guide member by the earth means, and charging of the guide member and sticking of the sheet by this are eliminated. The guide member is urged to the downstream side in the sheet conveying direction at the two positions separated in a direction perpendicular to the sheet conveying direction to eliminate the play-motion, and the skew of the sheet by the play motion of the guide member is eliminated.
