PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify a fitting step to a knuckle member of a bearing unit for a driving wheel including a hub wheel, a bearing, and a constant velocity universal joint. SOLUTION: The hub wheel 10 and an outside joint member 31 of an out-board side constant velocity universal joint 30 are plastically united. An outer peripheral surface 26a of an external member 26 is pressed in an inner peripheral surface of the knuckle member. The maximum outer diameter dimension D1 of an out-board side constant velocity universal joint 30 is made to be smaller than the minimum inner diameter dimension Dn of the knuckle member 6. The out-board side constant velocity universal joint 30 has the outside joint member 31, an inside joint member 32, and a torque transmitting ball 33 interposed between the outside joint member 31 and the inside joint member 32.
