PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automobile toy which carries out a smooth drift running. SOLUTION: The automobile toy 1 has its body 2 having front wheels 7 and rear wheels 8. The body 2 of the automobile toy is provided rollably with a drive unit 3 with a drive wheel 4 which makes a drive wheel 4 shift to the first position of facing forward or to the second position of facing either the left or right. The front wheels 7 is so arranged as to face the same direction as the drive wheel 4 does. When the drive unit 3 with the drive wheel shifts to the second from the first position, the body 2 of the automobile body carries out a drift running tuning either to the left or the right in the opposite direction to each other with a steering wheel kept reversed.
