A tether structure of an airbag for a vehicle is provided to reduce impact to a passenger in a car accident by providing a separation part separating with development of the airbag between a first tether and a second tether and to apply an airbag in front of a driver seat and a passenger seat as well. A tether structure of an airbag for a vehicle comprises a tether part(100) installed in an airbag developing to protect a passenger at a driver seat or a passenger seat in a car accident, consisting of a first tenor(110), an end of which is fixed to the rear center of inside of the airbag, and a second tether(120) formed integrally with the first tether, both ends of which are split and fixed to a front end of inside of the airbag, and a separation part(130) installed between and connected to the first and the second tether, and separated by force of widening both ends of the second tether upon developing of the airbag. Impact force to the passenger decreases according to reduction in acceleration of the airbag in proportion to a delay time necessary to separate the separation part connected between the first and the second tether.
