A desk for a student is provided to adjust the height of an upper plate thereof with a simple structure, and to improve the user's concentrating capacity by securing an independent space. A left cover plate(10) and a right cover plate(12) are installed to be connected via upper guide rail and a lower guide rail inside operation chambers respectively formed on a left side plate(2) and a right side plate(4). An inner frame and an outer frame come in contact with the upper and lower guide rails via guide tools. On the front and the rear of both sides of an upper plate of a desk for a student, a holding member(16) having holding recesses in multi-stages is formed to be fixed. Holding pins formed to protrude on the left and right sides plates are coupled to the selected holding recesses.
