An ultra precision portable image control system for a printer is provided to confirm that the printing is accurate by judging the relative position between a drum and a printed object through an encoder and an image camera and compensating for the position. An ultra precision portable image control system for a printer comprises a sensor(50), a camera(30), and a control unit(42). The sensor, which is synchronized with a drum of the printer, senses the present position of the drum and outputs the sensed result. The control unit such as a display photographs the printed object by the camera if a rotation angle of the drum is predetermined to check the position of the printed object and to control the rotation of the drum. The sensor is an encoder synchronized with the drum. The encoder outputs the number of pulse for maintaining a smaller error than the printed error range of the printed object.
