<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve an amount of energy of a lithium secondary battery, and improve its cycle life. <P>SOLUTION: In the nonaqueous secondary battery provided with a cathode having a cathode active material, an anode having an anode material and a nonaqueous electrolyte as its structuring elements, the cathode active material is a lithium-containing transition metal oxide, the anode material is a compound containing silicon atoms capable of inserting/releasing lithium, a collector of the anode is a metal foil supporter having an average surface roughness of 0.03 μm or more and 1 μm or less, and a thickness of 5 μm or more and 100 μm or less. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
