<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk which conducts recording or reproduction through a transmission layer by means of laser beams and is prevented from curving as much as possible and excellent in durability and light resistance, and to provide an ultraviolet-curable composition which is useful as a light transmission layer of the optical disk. <P>SOLUTION: In the optical disk, at least a light refection layer and a light transmission layer are formed on its substrate, and recording or reproduction is made through the light transmission layer by means of laser beams. The light transmission layer comprises an ultraviolet-curable composition which contains an epoxyacrylate resin which is obtained by reacting a half-ester compound (A) with an epoxy resin (B), the half-ester compound being obtained from a lactone adduct (a1) of a hydroxyalkyl(metha)acrylate and a dibasic acid anhydride (a2).
