<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To find a material which can significantly improve sun-screening effects without accompanying the defects of conventional techniques, especially without increasing viscosity, and can give a smooth dry sense, when introduced in a composition. <P>SOLUTION: The use of concave or annular particles of a silicone material, in particular, in the form of portions of hollow spheres, in an aqueous composition comprising, in a physiologically acceptable medium, at least one aqueous phase and at least one organic UV screening and/or one inorganic UV screening agent for the purpose of increasing the sun protection factor (SPF). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
