PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adjust relative misalignment between a disk center and an optical pickup while main components are attached to a chassis and unitized. SOLUTION: The optical pickup 2 is incorporated so as to be freely slid in the longitudinal direction of the chassis 8 by an optical pickup movable mechanism. An adjusting screw 15 abuts on one guide shaft 3b for guiding the optical pickup 2, and the optical pickup 2 disposed between the guide shafts 3a, 3b slides in the longitudinal direction X. Thus, the relative misalignment between the disk center and the optical pickup 2 can be adjusted when it occurs. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
