PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roll having excellent functions for removing and exploiting liquid and washing and having excellent durability for a long period of time. SOLUTION: This roll is used to remove and exploit the liquid such as water, oil, chemical component, etc. adhered to a steel plate, a nonferrous metal plate, and a resin-made plate or a film-like surface to be washed and wash them and has a roll part and a pedestal. The roll part is provided with a roll piece formed on an outer peripheral face of the pedestal, and the roll piece is formed by nonwoven fabric made of extra fine and long fibers having high polymer elastic bodies.
