PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a muffling device which is an exhaust noise mitigation device for a general four cycle engine and greatly mitigates engine exhaust gas wave noise by a simple structure. SOLUTION: This suction type muffling device is characterized by being mounted with an exhaust gas pressure suction pipe connecting an inner space of an exhaust pipe of a four cycle engine and an inner space of a crank case and greatly mitigating exhaust gas pressure instantaneously discharged by making exhaust gas pressure of the engine temporally sucked by negative pressure in a crank case.
