PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a saddle type vehicle capable of securely fitting an under-seat storage object under a seat while avoiding contact of a stay with an endless transmission belt even when the seat height is lowered. SOLUTION: A motorcycle 10 is provided with a vehicle body frame 60 including a pair of right and left seat rails 64 arranged along the longitudinal direction of a vehicle body and with the endless transmission belt 31 arranged below the right seat rail 64R side along the vehicle body longitudinal direction and transmitting driving force to a rear wheel 30. The motorcycle 10 is further provided with an object stay part 730 mounted to the vehicle body frame 60 in a region S in the right seat rail 64R side from the endless transmission belt 31, an electrical component storage part 710 arranged in the region S below the seat, and a connection part 68 connecting the left seat rail 64L with the right seat rail 64R. One ends of the electrical component storage part 710 and a sub-fuel tank 720 are connected to the object stay part 730, and the other ends are connected to the connection part 68.
