PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin molded article having a matte metal tone surface having an appearance which can be obtained by shaving a metal such as a matte metal surface being formed by sand blasting a metal surface which is known in the field of metal processing, or a matte metal surface being formed by applying a hair-line process to a metal surface. SOLUTION: This resin molded article has the matte metal tone surface. The matte metal tone surface is formed of a metal film surface having a fine uneven shape of which the central line average roughness (Ra) is 5 to 50μm, and also, which has an arithmetical average inclination (Δa) of a slope in the roughness curve of 30°or higher.
