A method of producing metal nanoparticles is provided to synthesize high concentration nanoparticles for a single metal, a metal alloy, or a metal oxide via several steps in use of a metal catalyst. A method of producing metal nanoparticles includes the steps of: (a) preparing a mixed solution consisting of a capping molecule, a metal catalyst powder, a reducing agent, and an organic solvent; (b) putting a metal precursor into the mixed solution, and stirring together at a preset temperature; and (c) lowering the temperature and obtaining nanoparticles. The metal precursor is selected from the group consisting of copper, silver, nickel, iron, gold, platinum, palladium, zinc, titanium, and an alloy thereof. The metal catalyst is selected from the group consisting of zinc, iron, tin, lead, and aluminum. Further, a weight of the metal precursor is 0.001 - 50 wt.% based on 100 wt.% of an organic solvent. |
