A road guiding system and a road guiding method using the same are provided to transmit traffic information including road states to a user by recognizing signals of a signal lamp. A wavelength sensor(110) includes a first sensor part(101) for sensing colors of a signal lamp by recognizing light wavelength, and a second sensor(102) for sensing a brake lamp of a prior vehicle. A transmitting unit(104) transmits the sensed information to a navigation unit(105). The navigation unit guides traffic states to a user according to the information transmitted from the transmitting unit. A data conversion unit(103) converts an analog value of the wavelength sensor to a digital value to be identified by the navigation. The transmitting unit transmits the converted digital value to the navigation unit. |
