A contact type connector is provided to connect first terminals of a male connector part and second terminals of a female connector part in an elastic contact type, thereby separating the first terminals and the second terminals even without applying a compulsory force to the male connector part and the female connector part. A connector(100) has a male connector part(110) and a female connector part(120), wherein the connector parts electrically connect a first device(11) and a second device(12) to each other. The male connector part includes a first body having first and second stepped faces, a plurality of first terminals of which first ends are mounted on the first stepped face and the other ends are bent, and a plurality of second terminals of which first ends are mounted on the second stepped face and the other ends are bent. The female connector part includes a second body having third and fourth stepped faces corresponding to the male connector part, a plurality of third terminals of which first ends are elastically protrusion-joined to the third face and second ends are bent, and a plurality of fourth terminals of which first ends are elastically protrusion-joined to the fourth stepped face and second ends are bent.
