A biodegradable receptacle and a production method thereof are provided to achieve improved oil resistance, water resistance and elastic property of the receptacle. A biodegradable receptacle includes a step(S10) of stirring water 100g and polyvinyl alcohol 5 to 20g for 20 to 60 minutes at the temperature of 80 to 100 deg.C, and heating the mixture, a step(S20) of mixing the binder produced in the previous step and starch 60 to 82g, pulp powder 8 to 20g, natural non-woven fabric 2 to 3g, dextrin 4 to 10g, and a softener 1 to 5g, a step(S30) of producing a sheet by applying the composition produced in the previous step onto the natural non-woven fabric sheet coated with biodegradable resin, a step(S40) of drying the sheet to the moisture content of 15 to 30%, and a step(S50) of compression molding the sheet into a receptacle.
