FIELD: stacker and stacking method for banded valuable document batches. ^ SUBSTANCE: stacker comprises discharge channel inclined in longitudinal and transversal directions and provided with narrowed section at lower end thereof. At first valuable document batch slides via transversal inclination of discharge channel along guiding means in narrowed section and then tilts sideways, turns through 180° about longitudinal batch axis and falls onto bottom arranged under discharge channel. Inclined side walls are used as guiding means for falling batches and support for stack formed of the batches. ^ EFFECT: provision of continuous banded batches stacking even if sheets have creases and bent corners. ^ 18 cl, 2 dwg
