A printing system and a printing job managing method thereof are provided to prevent excessive consumption of supplies by performing printing according to a predetermined special printing mode when the printing job is out of a general printing rule. A printing setting part(31) receives special printing mode information and special code information from a user, and a storing part(33) stores the received special printing mode information and special code information. A controller(32) requests the user to input the special code set to determine permission for performing the special printing mode when the printing setting information for printing a document corresponds to the special printing mode information for restricting a job quantity of the printed document. The controller requests printing data of the document if the received special code is identical with the set special code. A printing part(34) prints the received printing data according to a request of the controller.
