<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite apparatus whose overall height is suppressed low. <P>SOLUTION: The composite apparatus 1 includes an image reader 3 above an image forming apparatus 2, and between the image forming apparatus 2 and an image reader 3, also includes a paper sheet holding section 5 which holds a paper sheet P formed with an image by the image forming apparatus 2 and then discharged. The composite apparatus 1 has a discharging mechanism 4 discharging the paper sheet P to the paper sheet holding section 5, and at least a portion of the discharging mechanism 4 is arranged above the lower surface 3a of the image reader 3 facing the paper sheet holding section 5. The composite apparatus 1 is characterized in that an upper roller 4a of the discharging mechanism 4 discharging the paper sheet P to the paper sheet holding section 5 is disposed above the lower surface 3a of the image reader 3 facing the paper sheet holding section 5, consequently the height up to the top surface 3a of the image reader 3 becomes low, and the overall height of the machine is kept low. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
