<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inner sheet for a carbon crucible using a flexible expanded graphite sheet of high-purity, and a manufacturing method therefor. <P>SOLUTION: This inner sheet for the carbon crucible is a flexible inner sheet for the carbon crucible using the flexible expanded graphite sheet having bulk density of 0.7-1.3 g/cm<SP>3</SP>, thickness of 0.2-1.0 mm, impurity content of 5 ppm or less, and an axisymmetric shape. The expanded graphite sheet may be non-axisymmetric one. This manufacturing method for the inner sheet for the carbon crucible is a method of purifying up to the high purity the expanded graphite sheet having 0.7-1.3 g/cm<SP>3</SP>of bulk density and 0.2-1.0 mm of thickness, after worked into the axisymmetric shape, so as to reduce the impurity content to 5 ppm or less. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
