<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector device for a card capable of preventing contact between a short card and a contact terminal arranged in relation to a long card which should not originally be brought into contact with it. <P>SOLUTION: This connector device is provided with: a housing 3 having a predetermined mounting part 3b allowing a first card 1, and a second card 2 wider, thicker and shorter than the first card 1 to be respectively selectively mounted thereto; a plurality of first contact terminals 4 capable of respectively contacting a plurality of contact parts 1b of the first card 1; and a plurality of second contact terminals 5 capable of respectively contacting a plurality of contact parts 2b of the second card 2. The connector device is structured to have a cam mechanism including cam parts 16d pressing down the first contact terminals 4 to prevent the first contact terminals 4 from contacting the second card 2 along with insertion of the second card 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
