<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cellulose acylate film having a controlled optical anisotropy and capable of directly sticking onto a polarizing plate. <P>SOLUTION: A method for producing a cellulose acylate film comprising: preliminarily drawing a cellulose acylate film at a temperature in the range of (Tg-20)°C to (Tg+50)°C; and heating the film at a temperature not less than (-285×S+1,000)°C and less than a melting point of the film for not less than 0.01 minutes to less than 60 minutes where Tg represents a glass transition temperature of the cellulose acylate film and S represents a total substitution degree of the cellulose acylate. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
