PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crystal oscillation circuit for reducing attenuation even in adjusting an oscillation frequency with a load capacity, and for preventing higher harmonic oscillation. SOLUTION: A low pass filter is additionally inserted between a damping resistor 3 and the other terminal of a crystal oscillator 4 so that a cutoff frequency can be set in a range between a desired oscillation frequency and a high order frequency. Thus, it is possible to provide a crystal oscillation circuit whose attenuation can be reduced, and whose higher harmonic oscillation can be prevented even when adjusting the oscillation frequency by load capacitors 5 and 6.
